Floating dock
On June 1, the swimming season starts at the "Kiellinie" bathing area directly at the sailing camp. The crew of Kiel-Marketing GmbH & the sailing camp together with Kieler Bäder GmbH wish you lots of fun swimming!
Please note: Information regarding Kiel Week:
During Kieler Woche, the floating dock is open from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm. Furthermore, there will be no beach volleyball court hire or SUP hire available.
The Bronze Swimming Badge is also compulsory for all Open Camp activities.
Swimming fun directly on the Kiellinie
On an area measuring 30m x 35m, it's time to "jump into the cool water" in the heart of the state capital of Kiel.
The team from Kieler Bäder GmbH ensures safety. Access is via a bathing jetty, which is approx. 20 meters long.
Regular tests are carried out at the bathing area to check the quality of the bathing water.
Rules for the floating dock:
In order to ensure safety, order and peace for all bathers and visitors to the Kiellinie, please observe the following instructions when using the bathing area:
- Pets are not permitted.
- Water toys are not permitted as they can drift away. Buoyancy aids are permitted.
- The consumption of food is not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted.
- Swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear.
- Children under the age of 7 may only use the pool if accompanied by an adult.
- Non-swimmers are not permitted due to the depth of the water.
- Photography/filming of third parties is only permitted with permission.
- The use of personal hygiene products is not permitted.
- There is no liability for any valuables brought in.
The instructions of the supervisory staff must be followed! Leaving the designated bathing area is not permitted and is life-threatening!
