Ahoy at the Segelcamp on the Kiellinie! Our maritime meeting place on the water is unique in Germany and aims to introduce children and young people to the sport of sailing for little money.
Bookings open for the 2025 season
It's that time of year again! Every year from May to September, Kiel hosts its sailing camp. Participants and visitors can choose from more than 30 different courses – from Optimists and keelboats to cutters.
Bookings for the 2025 season open on 25 March for individual bookers.

The regatta highlight of the year
The Ocean Race Europe from 6 to 10 August in Kiel
From 6 to 10 August 2025, Kiel will be the place to be for sailing and ocean enthusiasts: at The Ocean Race Europe, visitors can experience the thrill of ocean racing up close. A five-day programme of water sports action, hands-on activities, culture and environmental projects invites visitors to celebrate sailing and discover the oceans at the same time – free of charge and in the open air.
At the sailing camp, interested parties can cast off the lines themselves at the open camp or take part in a trial SUP course. Just come by and join in.
